Above all else, No.22 Racing supports and advocates for their women's cycling community in building strength, confidence, individuality, and equality in racing. The team highlights like-minded sponsors to set a positive tone in women's cycling – which is a huge growing market in the sport today.
Keeping their foundation and community in mind, No.22 Racing is built on the idea of giving back. From 2015 - 2017, the team was partnered with This Bar Saves Lives and racing under a different name: This Team Saves Lives. This Bar is a snack bar company with a humanitarian aim. For every bar purchased, This Bar sends a packet of life-saving food aid to children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition. During their partnership, This Bar donated an additional 150 packets of life-saving food aid in our honor for every top 10 placement earned by a team member. The team along with This Bar, were able to donate 4,800 packets of food aid in 2015 and 5,550 in 2016. In 2017, ThisBar partnered with Feeding America to donate 1 month worth of food per top ten finish through Feeding America. That season yielded 75 top tens which amounted to 75 months/6.25 years/6,750 total meals given to those in need.
Starting with 2018, This Team Saves Lives became No.22 Racing when No.22 Bicycles offered to take on the role as title sponsor. This partnership is No.22 Bicycle’s first women's team. No.22 Bicycles is a small bicycle manufacturing company based out of Johnstown, NY. The team has been working with No.22 Bicycles since 2015 and are thrilled to see where the new journey takes them. Adhering to their mission, No.22 Racing is participating in several youth programs in the PA region, fundraising for charities and hosting drives to benefit their communities.
